Examples of my own images I may use in my magazine (edited)

In these images i concentrated on lighting for the two images with red and green light along with the black and white ones. They create a dramatic effect which draws the audience in to look at the magazine  I believe the main aspect of a front cover is the image. It needs to be eye catching to draw attention. I was inspired to use this red lighting from a photograph of Jay-Z with red lighting. This use of mise-en-scene will connote the house style of my magazine as I plan to used red as my main colour. 

In these images I have concentrated on the the use of lighting. Doing this is a great way to produce dramatic effects which are extremely eye catching to the audience. Doing this draws attention to the face and hands in some images. Furthermore, thinking carefully about the composition of the image allows there to be a use of leading lines; for example. The photographs with my model shaping her hands in a triangle and square draws the eye to her face, it is also framing her face. My favourite images are the black and white ones which are dramatic, although I do like the photographs with the use of the guitar.
